The “Big Bike Revival” style campaign; is a Department for Transport funded initiative designed to resurface the lives of forgotten bicycles –to repair, rejuvenate and reintroduce the pleasure of riding them.
Next weekend marks a ‘taster ’of the national campaign for projects to showcase bike regeneration activities that can engage the hard to reach audience for cycling that we believe lies dormant in peoples garages and sheds.
Based upon the success of the pilot, CTC’s intention is to continue supporting projects in the build up towards the national Bike Revival week in April 2015 – so – this is our chance to put on an all bicycle dancing splendid community affair and pledge our case for some really encouraging follow up funding..
