Our team of skilled mechanics at Platt Fields Bike Hub are happy to announce that thanks to support from Manchester Environmental Fund and SUEZ Manchester, since October 2023 we’ve given out 11 bicycles to refugees/asylum seekers. Our new riders received bike locks, lights, toolkits and a pump, so that they have everything they need to ride their bikes safely.
We would like to continue giving away bicycles for free to those in our community who are in greatest need and we are aware that our funding streams might not be here once this project finishes. This is why we would like you to consider buying us a symbolic cup of coffee to help us carry on with the project into the foreseeable future.
